Healthcare Systems Workshop
This Workshop takes a lean approach to a new product or service, and combines elements of the Productivity and Built-in Quality on existing and new products and processes. We scrutinize customer demand, workplace layout and capacity, and work balance. We work with employees involved in planning and launching the products and processes to find the best (most efficient and least expensive) processes. During the Workshop, all issues that lead to cost savings, effective material and supply management, as well as quality of care are thoroughly examined, and if possible, implemented. The issues identified below are equally dealt with along with other required issues during the workshop:
¨Document present state by calculating lead time, linking capacity and work balance to Takt time.
¨Design the layout, calculate standard work in process, put equipment at point of use, write standardized work for new jobs, and define Error Proofing
(Built-in-Quality) goals and methods.
